LinkedIn Ad Library: how to see a competitor's LinkedIn ads
The LinkedIn Ad Library at linkedin.com/ad-library lists every ad a company ran on LinkedIn in the last 12 months; search by the company's name.
How to search it
- Open linkedin.com/ad-library. No login is needed.
- Type the competitor's company name. You can also search by keyword, and narrow by country and date range.
- Open an ad to see the creative, the copy and the dates it ran.
What it shows
Ads from the last 12 months, with the image or video and the text. For ads served in the EU it also shows targeting and spend ranges. For ads served only outside the EU, targeting and spend are not shown.
What it leaves out
Which ads perform, how much the company spends in the US, and which audience each ad targets outside the EU. Ads run from a founder's or employee's personal page appear under that person, not the company, so search those names too.
Checking it for every competitor
CompetitorBase checks this library and the four others for every competitor you add, re-checks them daily (X weekly) and emails you when a competitor starts or stops advertising or launches a new ad. Starter costs $29/month for 10 competitors, with a 3-day free trial.
