Google Ads Transparency Center: how to see competitors' Google ads
2026-10-01
To see competitors' Google ads, search their website domain in the Google Ads Transparency Center at adstransparency.google.com; it lists their Search, YouTube and Display ads.
How to search it
- Open adstransparency.google.com.
- Type the competitor's domain (for example competitor.com). The domain search is faster than the advertiser name when you don't know the legal entity that pays for the ads.
- Filter by country, date range and format (text, image, video).
What it shows
Search ads with their headline and text, YouTube ads with the video, and Display ads with the image, plus the dates each was shown.
What it leaves out
The keywords a competitor bids on, budgets, and landing-page variants. For keywords you need a paid SEO tool; the Transparency Center only shows the ads themselves.
Checking it for every competitor
CompetitorBase checks this library and the four others for every competitor you add, re-checks them daily (X weekly) and emails you when a competitor starts or stops advertising or launches a new ad. Starter costs $29/month for 10 competitors, with a 3-day free trial.
